Wow, its been awhile since I've posted here, hasn't it? '^_^ In my defence it has been a very busy... er... year? Year and a half? Wow.

But I am still writing! Which brings me to what has returned me to the world of LiveJournal. One of my stories was nominated in the NCIS awards, and it won!!!! :)

Alright, first, I'm gonna say that my surgery was a complete success and i should start posting again soon (hopefully sometime in the next week). That said, my next paragraph is gonna be a rant to get some stuff off my chest, so be warned.

Hormones suck. I have to ssy it is so much better to do this here, since no one here expects me to be the always happy one. Heck, I've gone through a lot in my life, I know i've gone through  alot. This latest surgery brings my tally up to the high twenties, and i have been bullied because of it (and I'm not claiming to be the only one, I know very well that there are people who most likely had it worse then me) and I went through a lot of pain, and because of that I learned quickly how to stifle it all, stay stoic. I'm the girl who always smiles, always there for someone no matter what. And I dont mind that but now that means that everyone always expects me to be optimistic, to stay smiling but i cant. My hormones are a bloody mess and my emotions are absolutely haywire. I've gone from being independant to have to rely on someone for everything and it absolutely sucks. But even though I have to have help to get from my room to the bathroom, I still smile. And I hate it. I hate that because of this surgery my body has gone into shock and my hormones are nuts and I start crying at the littlest thing and I have no idea why. And it's just... yea, I dont know.

But I swear, what i wouldnt give to be able to go and put on my jeans, my favourite white halter-neck, do my hair and go out to the shops. And be able to seriously feel optimistic, not just act it because thats what everyone expects of me.

Anyway, thats my rant done, hopefully it'll mean that i wont be crying for awhile (yes, I was crying before i wrote this and I have no clue why) but thats it.... hopefully anybody who reads this wont judge.

Battousai the Rurouni was finally updated, I dunno if I wrote that before. Others will be up soon, but as they are humour fics, well, obviously I cant write humour when the only thing I'm doing is using up a box of tissues.

Well, it has been awhile since I've updated, hasn't it? This journal, that is. I wouldnt torture you so to not update my fics in that long. *coughcough* (nobody mention Battousai the Rurouni, please! :p )

That said, I had a brilliant time on my holiday! I may even put up a few tidbits about it... Paris was absolutely wonderful... I dunno about the city of love but it was definitely the city of life! 

anyway, now to fanfiction. I have added more comments to Chapter 17 (15, by the books) Beauxbatons and Durmstrang, so go check that out.

Currently posted; I am up to chapter 19 THe Hungarian Horntail. I am writing The First Task at the moment. 

Reactions to the Legend is up to Chapter 8; and I have two more chapters to go (maybe three, depending on circumstance)  

Battousai the Rurouni.... hehe..... um..... sorry about that :( The next chapter will be up soon... i promise! swear it! 

I am going into hospital come Monday though (yes, again, for those who know that  I was in there just the other day). I am hoping to finish the next chapter for each fic (including BtR) so you should all enjoy it even though I wont! And, of course, you'll make sure to leave plenty of review for me. yes? :p

As many of you probably know by now, i am going away... in a few hours, really. 

my wonderful beta , Patrick, has chapters 15 & 16 of moony, paddy, prongs & lily read goblet of fire, and he will be posting them for me. 

unfortunately, due to complete lack of time, i didnt get to finish a chapter of either battousai the rurouni or reactions to the legend. i hate to disappoint the readers, but i swear they will be my top priority when i return!

...the most annoying subject and these computers are driving me absolutely insane. They're so slow its not funny. 

And then lets add the fact that the majority of the sites are blocked and i have to do this project and half the files are on brits computer and the other half are on mine and USB keys arent working and i cant access my email account. yeah, its annoying.

so now im trying to remember my yahoo account and its taking ABSOLUTELY FOREVER to dowload the files. 

so, thats my rant about school computers (aka the most annoying things in the world) so later all ;-)

1. Get more sleep. Enough with going to bed at midnight and getting up at seven all the time.

2. Quit procrastinating. Do not leave homework till 11 at night

3. Stop checking emails during classes and actually do some work so i dont get as much homework

4. Find some way to get rid of this writers block so i can finish the next chapter of Reactions which is waaaaay of overdue. btw, if any of the readers of that fic are reading this, can you give me any ideas? im so stuck its not funny. seriously.

and lastly;

5. Stop going on LJ when i should be doing homework or writing the next chapter of reactions.

so with that note, i have to say, reactions is giving me a massively hard time, so it might not be up till the weekend. sorry. im trying...

anyways, c y'all. hopefully i'll have good news next time.

ok, so i went shopping with my brother where he made me spend like two hours walking around the entire three story shopping centre looking for some bandana which we didnt even find in the end. then i spent another hour traipsing around the supermarket trying to find some dishwashing washer or whatever. and my brother was no help

and then i came home, cursing and furious at the general male population. i check my email. theres only one new email. i open it, and its this totally sweet email from my boyfriend! it cheered me right up :-) 

guess men arent that bad after all...

i swear, i have just had the most hectic week in my entire life. i had four tests (on Romeo and Juliet in english; Micro Economics in business (also the hardest tests in the history of tests), Linear Equations in Math and the Carbon and nitrogen cycles in Science) i also had two projects due, a whole lot of homework and housework since my mum still isnt up to it.

in good news; my mums home now! she still cant do everything that she did before but shes heaps better now! 

in bad news; i had an intense workout the other day and all my muscles are killing me, i swear. they're all stiff and everything. and ive also been neglecting drinking water what with the hecticness which for me, with only one kidney, is a bad thing. my stomach is killing me. i drank like 6 litres yesterday to try and make it up.

but on that note, i now have more computer time. at the moment its reactions that im working on and im about halfway done with that chapter. it may even have a guest appearance by ronniekins... we'll see how i go! 

one good thing about not feeling your best - nobody cares if you spend all your time on the computer!

in other news, i have less than half an hour of internet computer time as i am either at the hospital with my mum or having to cook/clean so unfortunately dont expect replies/updates immediately...

on that topic, my mums finally knows whats up and is going into surgery tomorrow, so lets all hope that it goes well, yeah?

Some of you may have noticed that i havent updated, reviewed or been answering emails in the last day or two. Heres the reason(s):

First, on Monday, i found out that a girl at my school died after a four-year battle with cancer. 

Then, my mum, who had been sick, was admitted into hospital. We found out that she has stones in her gall bladder and one of them popped out and is stuck in one of the tubey thingys in her body. so shes going into surgery on friday and will most likely be in hospital for another week. 

this means that i have to do most of the work around the house - particularly with my little brother and sister.  i have been incredibly busy and i barely spend any time at home. today, i went to school, came home to eat and get changed, went to the hospital then to the shops and got back and had to put T&B to bed, clean the house and find some forms.  

so my sincere apologies to those who are waiting for updates but writing is not my priority at the moment. i will when i get the chance!

im hoping to have chapter four of reactions up by tuesday/wednesday. i cant believe its been that long since i updated it! nearly a month... naughty amber!

lol, anyway, its going a little slow at the moment as my mums ill and me, being the second oldest child (my brothers 20) and the oldest female child get to do all the work. and when your dads a health nut, cooking is a major chore. i cant buy bread i have to make it. i cant add sugar to anything. nothings allowed to have to much flour in it. the bread has to be as thin as possible. add as much cheese as is possible without making yourself sick. the list is endless.

and thats just food... anyway, anough about my rant. chapters going good though i still dont know if it'll be the last for philosophers - im hoping it will, i wanna get to chamber of secrets!

im done with AIMS tests for good, ive finished that damn history project and its a long weekend. Life is good :-)

ive also updated a little interlude for MPPL (includes baby harry and snape) and the next chapter part of it will be up tomorrow (Friday the 11th of May)

While Reactions to the Legend will be up in the next few days - currently working on it!

...is not quite up but is literally nearly finished! only about half an hour of work to go on it and then it will be posted (if i get it back from my beta, which i should)

i am so sorry guys! i just seem to be adding so many delays!

CHapter 12 Part Two is about three quarters finished - i promise this time that it will be posted Wednesday at the latest! I just have to finish a history project and im on it!

heh, heres the deal guys. see, my glasses got broken on saturday so and only just got fixed today so i havent managed to get ANY writing done... again!

the next chapter will be up by wednesday (The Triwizard Tournament Part Two) and then ill start working on chapter 4 of Reactions... and lets not forget my History Project... and my English Project... and my DigiDesign one... i have got way to many things to do!

alright, i promised i would put progress reports so i am. i am hoping to put the next chapter up for anzac day but im only about 3 pages in... me and my procrastinating... but still miracles can happen

ive also got  a huge history project that my teacher set today and expects us to finish in only two weeks!

You know, i had such brilliant plans for this weekend... i had absolutely NO homework so i was going to finish Chapter 12 of MPP&L read GoF and maybe even see if i could finally do my RK fic.

but then on friday my mum wanted me to go shopping with her... an unfortunate decision really as i am now broke after buying all 5 artemis fowl books, the 3 bartimaeus trilogy books and two tops and a really cool jacket. 

and then on saturday i had to go to the shops AGAIN because my mum wanted me to help her with the photos and then i had to go to my godmothers. and on sunday we had guests from new zealand come over.

in other words, i got absolutely no writing done and i am completely broke. 

i am working on chapter 12 but its slow going coz i have absolutely no idea what to write... im hoping that it will be finished by wednesday or thursday. 

so lets hope that i manage to update, yeah?
